Senior Stylist-Ever since I was a little girl I've always wanted to be a hair stylist, because "I liked playing with hair". At that time I had no idea how rewarding it would be when I actually got my license to "play with hair". It makes me feel so proud to know that I can make people feel so good on the inside because of how great they look on the outside! My job is to give my customers a look that is tailored just for them and their personality, whether it is conservative & classic or fun & funky. I've been at S-Kape since the beginning, and I find it very inspiring to work with such a wonderful & talented group of people!

Stylist-I began working at S-Kape Salon during high school to earn extra spending money. At first it was just a job, but the more I learned about the industry it "peaked my interest". Over the years my passion for the industry grew. I attended Blades School of Hair Design and received my license while working alongside my peers here at S-Kape. Through the years I have developed strong skills in hair-coloring and consider this to be my strength. I keep up to date on all of the current trends and styles. My goal is to form long-term relationships with my clients and keep each client satisfied.

Senior Stylist-I love doing hair! I have been licensed in this industry since 1987. My passion for this business has extended into all facets. I have been everything from salon receptionist, to salon owner, educator, and platform artist. I feel that working with clients is most rewarding. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that you have had a positive effect on how someone feels about their appearance. Color is my strength, it has always been my main focus, and I've successfully built my reputation on being an exceptional colorist.

Nail Technician & Spray Tan Specialist-S-Kape Salon is like a second home to me. I started here at 15 years old shampooing after high school. I soon realized that the salon world is where I am meant to be. By 2003 I finished the Nail Technician Apprentice Program and became licensed. The most rewarding part of my job is simply making my clients feel good, from the outside in! I absolutely love what I do and I think thats what makes my nail services so exceptional. After taking a 3 year break to start a family I am so happy to be back doing what I do best: "Making people feel pretty".

Owner & Senior Stylist-It is truly an amazing gift to wake up every day excited and loving what you do! I believe that the key to being a great stylist is first in the consultation. Clients do not always know the correct terminology for expressing what they want or haven't been educated about their hair to understand what is actually possible to accomplish. When a client trusts that you truly understand and are confident about the results, they get excited and are able to relax and that's an awesome feeling! I enjoy all aspects of doing hair (mostly color) and give every client my personal best as well as a maintenance plan so that they are not left wondering when to come back and what to ask for. Traveling all over the country and even abroad to receive advanced education allows me to stay excited about what I do and have fun at the same time. The beauty industry has always been a passion of mine, almost an addiction! I love products and learning new techniques. I am now devoting my time to expanding my clientele, as well as my education. Since graduating Cosmetology School, April Woodburn, an amazing Senior Stylist here at S-Kape, has become my mentor. Skin Care Specialist/Nail Technician/Salon Associate- My name is Shaunna Albright, I have been in the beauty industry all of my life. My mother and four older sisters were or are cosmetologists. I decided to attend school for Esthetics in 2005 at Cape Fear in Wilmington NC where I received my certification in medical esthetics, natural nails and facial and body waxing. I enjoy what I do so much that I have also decided to obtain my Cosmetology Certification by participating in the Maryland state board Apprenticeship program. I am currently working along side a senior stylist training in the art of hair design.
