It is truly an amazing gift to wake up every day excited and loving what you do! I believe that the key to being a great stylist is first in the consultation. Clients do not always know the correct terminology for expressing what they want or haven't been educated about their hair to understand what is actually possible to accomplish. When a client trusts that you truly understand and are confident about the results, they get excited and are able to relax and that's an awesome feeling! I enjoy all aspects of doing hair (mostly color) and give every client my personal best as well as a maintenance plan so that they are not left wondering when to come back and what to ask for. Traveling all over the country and even abroad to receive advanced education allows me to stay excited about what I do and have fun at the same time. Ever since I was a little girl I've wanted to be a hair stylist, because "I liked playing with hair". At that time I had no idea how rewarding it would be when I actually got my license to "play with hair". It makes me feel so proud to know that I can make people feel good on the inside because of how great they look on the outside! My job is to give my customers a look that is tailored just for them and their personality, whether it is conservative & classic or fun & funky. I've been at S-kape since the beginning, I started out as a shampoo assistant and have worked my way up to being a Stylist and Manager. I became interested in hair when I started doing my friends hair for proms, homecomings, or just a Friday night out! Once I realized that I had the potential to become a professional stylist I enrolled at Graham Webb, and have been doing hair ever since.
